Pence began the process of demolishing the NorthEast wing of McMinnville High School on Tuesday, April 3. A golden hammer ceremony was held on Monday as MHS and school district partners who were key to the bond effort that made this work possible were the first to begin tearing down walls. The big tools began work Tuesday morning and demo continues throughout the week.
This is Pence’s second year on the high school campus. Work is set to conclude in Fall of 2019 with 125,000 new square feet of classroom and counseling space plus 30,000 square foot of remodel yet to come.
