DHS Portland

The Department of Human Services in Portland, Oregon needed a large facility to house several major state provided services. The former Target store building was remodeled to provide a training center, conference center, and volunteer/activities and programs.

The building is a concrete, CMU and steel structure with a broad scope renovation. To go from a retail space to an office building, major systems needed to be overhauled. A new roof, new HVAC equipment and system, new exterior storefront, new electrical and plumbing.

All installed lights are LED, which allowed for an Energy Trust of Oregon credit to the Department.
