Milano Apartments

The Milano is a 60 unit European style apartment building designed with clean lines and smaller, more efficient units. It is centrally-located in Portland, and is a bicycle friendly development. The quarter block site was extremely constricting to build on and shoring was placed to protect the adjacent properties. The complex has 12 parking spots 92 bike
parking and 5 stories of wood framing above the PT slab. The apartment windows span from floor to ceiling in the units, the patios feature a grating walking surface with clear glass railing. The siding is Ceraclad from Japan with custom reglets and a rain screen accomplished by stand off clips.

The finishes included granite counter tops from china, custom casework, laminate and sheet vinyl flooring and rubber base in the units and carpet in the corridors. The main lobby is polished concrete floor with exposed concrete columns.
