Marion Polk Food Share

Marion Polk Food Share is a client Pence has built several projects for. Our most recent was the repackaging facility shown here; a refrigerated / climate controlled room inside the Marion Polk Food Share warehouse for their new repackaging equipment. The 770 square foot repackaging facility allows the Food Share to accept large quantities of food that come directly from distributors to be packaged into family size portions and delivered throughout the community. The room was designed and built around specific food packaging equipment specifications and has allowed the Food Share to remain on the cutting edge to serve our community. With this new facility they can repackage 2,000 pound of rice, beans or pasta in about 34 minutes. This center is one of the first of its kind in the nation!
