U-Store

This three-story concrete tilt panel storage building is easy to spot from Interstate-5 in Springfield, Oregon. Situated on a 2.5 acre lot, the U-Store offers more than 1,000 storage locker units for clients to hold their possessions in a climate-controlled, secure space. Loading docks and two elevators allow movement of storage items in and out with ease.

Pence was faced with a challenge during the Drinking Water Permit acquisition, which was required due to the building’s proximity to the McKenzie River. Precise management of water runoff was necessary and the management of chemicals on the project was strict.

The building also features an adjoined living space for management within the fenced grounds.
