Sunnyside Plaza

This one-story, wood framed retail shell building was the fourth part of a four-phase project for development company, Wallmacc, LLC. The scope of work included site underground utilities, slab on grade, single ply membrane and shingle roofing for a mansard roof, aluminum storefront, glazing systems, hollow metal doors, siding, and masonry veneer.

For the building’s size, the amount of excavation was heavy at 1,800 cubic yards removed before work could begin. Site work also included extensive wall systems due to the existing lot grading. Lock & Load, rockery, keystone, cast-in-place, and ultra block walls were utilized to minimize costs and maximize usage of the limited space. Café Yumm, MOD Pizza, Jamba Juice and Clackamas Federal Credit Union occupy the initial spaces with more retail partners to come.
