295 Church Mixed Use

This project, which was once a vacant half-acre lot on the corner of Church and Trade Streets in Salem’s business district, is now a five-story building including 27 condominium units above two stories of commercial office space. A mix of housing, retail and offices, 295 Church will house the new studios and offices for Salem’s public access television station, Capital Community Television (CCTV) on the ground floor, and a new City of Salem Information Technology facility on the second floor. The one and two bedroom suites range
from 900 to 1600 square feet and include panoramic views of the city.

295 Church Street required collaboration among the City of Salem, Marion County, the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Salem, Capital Community Television (CCTV), Willamette University, the Mid-Willamette Valley Cable Regulatory Commission (CRC), and Cascadia Development, LLC. Due to the public and private partnerships, 295 Church Street has received the 2008 Mid-Willamette Valley Council of Governments Regional Cooperative Project Award and the 2008 Oregon Economic Development Association Award of Excellence for Collaborative Partnerships.
