Adventist Columbia Gorge Fluoroscopy Replacement

This 300-square-foot renovation modernized a fluoroscopy suite to accommodate new X-ray imaging equipment within an occupied hospital. Located just 20 feet from the Sleep Study Department, the project included removing outdated equipment, releading walls, leveling the existing concrete slab and reinforcing the ceiling to support new imaging technology. The renovation uncovered unforeseen conditions within walls that had remained untouched since the 1950s, requiring field adjustments while maintaining the project schedule. Throughout construction, the team implemented noise control measures, followed Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA) requirements and closely coordinated with hospital staff to minimize disruption. Continuous communication, flexible scheduling and careful workflow planning allowed patient care to continue safely while delivering an upgraded imaging space to support improved diagnostic services.
