Mary Stuart Rogers Music Center
The Mary Stuart Rogers Music Center at Willamette University is an “acoustically tuned instrument” showcasing the 450-seat Jerry E. Hudson Concert Hall, a rehearsal hall for “pre-performance” tuning, percussion studio, music technology laboratory, faculty studios, practice rooms and the music office. The 25,000 square foot facility’s 37-foot high glulam trusses dwarf the adjacent variable acoustic banners that allow the musicians to tune the
building to each performance.
