Sifton Elementary School

During the past seven years, Pence has focused our K-12 efforts on occupied and replacement schools and has recently completed the new 62,000 SF Sifton Elementary School project in Vancouver, Washington for the Evergreen School District (ESD). Funded through a recent bond intended to upgrade outdated buildings throughout the school district, the original 19,000 SF school building built in 1959 remained occupied by students and faculty while Pence built the new school on site.

The new school building includes a two-story classroom wing, gymnasium, kitchen, cafeteria, media center, administrative offices, collaboration areas, and a covered play shelter. Improvements to traffic flow, parking, playgrounds, student gardens, sports fields, and a walking track were also included in the site development.
